Mainstream UK Hip-Hop is currently a sorry state of affairs. It seems to simply consist of teenage grime-scene dropouts who decided to make 'mainstream money' and got someone else to sing a chorus for them just so they could drop some instantly forgettable bars in between. Thank god, then, for this re-working of Drake's 'Best I Ever Had' (which I will berate at a later date probably when talking about the state of R'n'B) by Mystro. Channeling the humorous stylings of legends like Roots Manuva and not-such-legends The Mitchell Brothers, Mystro gloriously lambasts a pain-in-the-arse girlfriend. Perfect.
guy this is a great find, really enjoying it ha!
