Where Were U In '92? is a hard album to categorize. Not that genres are everything, but Zomby's 2008 full-length sits somewhere between the 'wonky' stylings of the Gucci Mane-sampling 'Pillz' and the full on jungle assault that is 'Hench'. Even major fashion labels such as Prada have picked up on his unique sound, and the Bladerunner influenced 'Tears In The Rain' can be heard on catwalks across the world. Nevertheless, it's a great record from one of the most (forgive me) original producers around at the moment. Cliches over with, give it a listen.
