So after today the maths all gets that little bit more complicated. To celebrate a successful month on the 'blogosphere, I would like to present you all with the 'Best Music Video Of 2009'. It comes in the form of '6' by Three Trapped Tigers, a sort of cross between Vessels and Tortoise with a dash of 65dos - okay, so this sounds massively derivative, but there's nothing wrong with that if you can pull it off as well as these guys do. With only two EPs to their name so far, hopefully 2010 will see big things for TTT. There's something about the stop-start nature of the drums on this track and the way the feedback fades in and out that make it endlessly listenable. Anyway, the video is some sort of bizarre Japanese-style kids TV show type thing, and it's amazing.
