Upon sitting down to write today's entry my younger brother wandered in and told me Snow Patrol had been granted the accolade of 'Song of the Decade' by Channel 4 for the frankly bland 'Chasing Cars'. After a frantic bit of Wikipedia-ing, I found this was true. Which is a shame, because it's not even the best song Snow Patrol have written this past decade, let alone anyone. Still, there was a time when I quite liked this band, and here is an example of why. Accompanied by a baffling OC-related YouTube 'fan video'.
