Obviously, it's easy to take the 'their first album was the only one that matters' with bands from your youth. But honestly, with Alexisonfire it's never been more apt. Not to say that the second isn't a decent record, but the first encapsulated something so original and exciting that they never really captured again. Which is a real shame.
