There is a fond period of my life where, upon return from school each day, I would sit and kill a considerable amount of hours each evening playing GTA: Vice City on the Xbox and listening to
Showtime by Dizzee Rascal. When
Boy In Da Corner came out I just straight up didn't get it, and yet a year later, after discovering 'Hold Ya Mouf' on a Rough Trade compilation (of all things) I couldn't get enough. Which is why
Maths + English still stands of one of my biggest musical letdowns ever. Still, this record continues to hold a seriously special place in my heart.
