As I'm currently sitting here stressing harder than ever about my 3 hour French exam tomorrow morning aka the worst day of my life, I'll keep this brief. To calm myself I've been listening to this, alongside Blue Roses, pretty much all day. If you hadn't clocked it yet, Justin Vernon is better known as Bon Iver, under which name he is responsible for some of the most beautiful music to come out over the past couple of years. This is pre-Bon Iver, and there is a definite difference in style - it's almost more structured and forceful but no less enjoyable.
