Seeing as everyone is still pretty much trapped indoors as the whole world seems to be covered in sheet ice covered by five inches of snow, I'd assume film downloads have gone up tenfold in the last few days. As a nice convergence, I thought I'd post a track from what is undoubtedly one of the finest soundtracks to come out in the last few years, if not ever. Clint Mansell was once the frontman of Pop Will Eat Itself - fuck knows how he's now creating soundtracks of this caliber. Also, I should mention that the film its taken from, Moon (starring Sam Rockwell and dir. by Duncan Jones aka Zowie fucking Bowie) is one of my favourites of 2009, so if you're looking for something to watch tonight whilst you wait for the snow to get its act together and bugger off I highly recommend it.Thursday, 7 January 2010
